I’m drawn to places and situations where life is happening, where people, systems, and environments intersect in ways that are easy to overlook, but worth paying attention to. I photograph moments of joy, pain, and effort, along with care and attention, often outside the frame of public focus.

My approach is patient and observational. I spend time listening and
watching before making images, allowing situations to unfold as they
are rather than directing or staging them. I’m interested in how
systems function over time, how environments are used, and
how individuals move within them and alongside one another.
​
Whether documenting people at work, everyday environments,
institutional settings, or moments of maintenance and preservation,
I focus on context and relationship, how actions connect, how
decisions take shape, and how meaning emerges through presence.
The images that result are shaped less by intervention than by sustained attention.

I work best in settings where trust and responsibility matter, and where the goal is not spectacle, but clarity. My aim is to create photographs that feel honest, grounded, and durable, images that hold what was actually there, at the moment it mattered.

My documentary and editorial work is observational and responsive. I photograph people, environments, and situations as they unfold, paying attention to context, relationships, and what is actually happening rather than directing or staging scenes.

This work often includes individuals at work, in everyday life, and in settings where systems, routines, and interactions shape the moment. Sometimes that means spending time observing; other times it means responding quickly when events are unfolding in real time.

The focus is on clarity and presence. The resulting images are grounded and straightforward, reflecting the reality of the moment without embellishment or interruption.
