Mama Moose

A mother moose grazedon aquatic plants at sunset in the calm, shallow lake. Her movements were slow and deliberate. Along the lake's edge, hidden in the dense brush, her calf stayed nestled safely out of sight. As I observed her, I could hear her gentle murmurs directed toward her baby, ensuring its comfort and safety. Her baby would quietly respond. Between each dip of her head beneath the water, she would pause, turning slightly to check on her calf, which was such a tender moment of connection between them.
